Tips for Working on Your Application Over the Holidays

The winter holidays are a great time to work on your application to the Wharton MBA Program for Executives. Our offices will close for Winter Break on December 24, 2022 in Philadelphia and San Francisco, so please contact us before then if you have immediate admissions questions. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Here are a few things to keep in mind as you start or continue the application process:

  1. If you haven’t already done so, create your online account.
  2. If you still need to take the GMAT, GRE or Executive Assessment (EA), you have until the January 18, 2023 deadline to submit your test score within the application. Applicants with fewer than 8 years of full-time work experience must submit GMAT or GRE scores. If you take the exam at a test site, you will receive scores upon completion of the exam. Should you choose to take the exam at home, it can take several business days to receive preliminary test scores, so please schedule your exam in advance of the January 18 deadline.
  3. Be mindful of application deadlines for all schools you are applying to. Wharton does not operate on a rolling admission basis, which means we review applications after the January 18, 2023 deadline. Interview invitations will be released on February 22, 2023, and admission decisions will be released on March 22, 2023. The Wharton MBA Program for Executives cannot grant early decisions for applicants. Please plan accordingly while applying to other programs, as they may have deposit deadlines which occur before we release our final decisions.
  4.  Schedule a conversation with an admissions advisor if you have questions about the program or application process.
  5. If you have technical questions about the online application, contact CollegeNet.

Wishing you the happiest of holidays,

The Wharton MBA Program for Executives Admission Team
