What Happens After You Submit Your Application?

After you submit your application to Wharton’s MBA Program for Executives, what happens next? 

First, we make sure that we have received all of your required application materials. If something is missing, we will contact you. You also can check your application portal to confirm the status of your materials.

Your completed application is read and reported on by multiple members of our Admissions Committee. After those initial reads, all applications are then read and reviewed by our admissions directors on both coasts. We put a lot of time and energy into thoroughly reviewing every aspect of the application in detail.

Applicants for Round 1 will receive decisions on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Applicants for Round 2 will receive decisions on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Admissions decisions are announced online. You can view the decision by logging into your online application account after 5:00 p.m. ET (Philadelphia applicants) and 5:00 p.m. PT (San Francisco applicants) on the decision release date.
