You’ve Submitted Your EMBA Application. Now What?

You’ve completed your application to Wharton’s MBA Program for Executives, sent your GMAT scores, and submitted your credentials. So, what happens now?

We process each application to make sure that we’ve received all the required documents. If anything is missing, we’ll contact you personally. Next, multiple members of the Admissions Committee will thoroughly review each application.

To ensure consistent quality across both the Philadelphia and San Francisco classes, we evaluate applications to both campuses together. West Coast Admissions Director Barbara Craft spends a week in March in Philadelphia as part of this process.

While we review applications holistically, we look for a few specific things. We want to understand your career goals and how this program can help you achieve them. We also look for diversity and perspective that others might not have. And we want to identify applicants with the academic potential and interpersonal skills to be successful in the program.

Decisions will be released on March 28, 2017. You will receive an email from the system to let you know there has been an update. Then you can log into your online account to view your decision letter.

For those not offered a position in the incoming class who intend to reapply, the Admissions Committee is happy to offer feedback on your application over the summer.

Thank you for your interest in Wharton’s MBA Program for Executives, and congratulations on taking the next step to advance in your career.
