Application deadlines are fast approaching — the deadline for Wharton’s West Coast EMBA program is Jan. 19, 2009. And the deadline for the East Coast EMBA program application is Feb. 1, 2009.
This is a good time to make sure you’ve completed all of the steps in the application process. If you haven’t already scheduled an admissions interview, we strongly encourage you to do so right away. At this point, very few appointment slots on class days remain, so you might consider coming during the week for your interview and then returning on a class day to have lunch with students and observe a class.
As for the GMAT, there are no waivers under any circumstances. So if you need to take this exam, note that the West Coast program will accept GMAT scores until Feb. 16, 2009. The East Coast program will accept scores until March 5, 2009.
For reapplicants, the first step is to e-mail our office to request the reapplication procedures. Your paper credentials are held on file for only one year; so if it’s been more than a year, you must create a new online application account, submit one new recommendation and a new sponsorship letter on letterhead. You also will need to write an abbreviated “reapplicant essay” covering what has happened since you last applied.
Happy New Year!
