Wharton’s West Coast Executive MBA Students Help Developing Countries while Teambuilding

During Orientation Week for Wharton’s West Coast Executive MBA students, participants tackled a unique team project while getting to know each other better. Working under the direction of Odyssey Teams, students built prosthetic hands that will be sent to developing countries. To better understand the need for the devices, each team member only used one hand to build, as their other hand was restricted in a mitten. Completed prosthetic hands were placed in pillow bags, which each team decorated with a message for the recipient of the device.
