We’re excited to announce that interview invitations for the Wharton MBA Program for Executives have been released via email for Round 1. If you’ve been selected to interview, congratulations! This is an important milestone in the application process, and we’re looking forward to getting to know you better.
What to Expect in Your Interview:
Your interview will be a 30-minute, one-on-one conversation with a member of the Admissions Committee, conducted via Zoom. The interview is an opportunity to share things that may not be reflected in your application. Here’s what you can expect:
- Present Yourself in “3D”: Think of the interview as a chance to bring your application to life. We want to learn about you as a person—your background, experiences, and what motivates you.
- Discuss Your Career Journey: We’ll talk about how your career has evolved, with examples of leadership within or outside of your work.
- Explain Why Wharton: Share why pursuing an MBA at Wharton is the next step for you.
Insider Tips: Dos and Don’ts for Your Interview
- Do: Come prepared to highlight an accomplishment or two. This is your chance to showcase your strengths and the impact you’ve made in your career.
- Don’t: Avoid coming in with a prepared PowerPoint presentation or speech. We want to have a two-way conversation with you.
- Don’t: Stress! Receiving an interview invitation is an achievement in itself, so try to enjoy the process and give yourself kudos for making it to this step.
