EMBA Schedule & Full Academic Calendar

The Wharton Executive MBA is an intensive program which allows you to earn the full Wharton MBA in a modified schedule to accommodate your full-time career.  Students in our San Francisco and Philadelphia cohorts attend class sessions in-person every other weekend, with several extended sessions throughout the duration of the program. Students in our Global cohort follow a similar schedule, however they attend virtual, synchronous class sessions every other weekend rather than traveling to one of our campuses. Review the full calendars below for a more detailed understanding of the program schedule.

Executive MBA Schedule Overview

    • 6 terms total/3 terms per year.
    • All students (San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Global) start in Philadelphia with opening class sessions.
    • Classes on Friday and Saturday, every other week, with some three-day weekends. Global students have classes over a three-day period or two-day period, every other weekend, depending on their time zone.
    • All students participate in Global Business Week, a week-long global experience in the second year.
    • Students are required to complete one additional Credit Unit (CU) beyond the standard program calendar.
